奥林巴斯的物镜可以分为PLN(平场消色差),UPLFLN(半复消色差)以及UPLSAPO(复消色差)三种基准类型,也有专门对应相差(PLN-PH、UPLFLN-PH)以及对应偏光(PLN-P、UPLFLN-P)的物镜选择,而对应倒置显微镜观察的就有与之相对应的长工作距离的物镜(LUCPLFLN、CPLFLN)等。
描述物镜的基本参数包括放大倍率、数值孔径(N/A)、工作距离(WD)以及视场数(F.N.),相同放大倍率的不同类型物镜的基准参数也会有所差异
总体来说光学显微镜的观察方式有如下一些:
BF:明场,DF:暗场,PH:相差,PO:偏光,DIC:微分干涉,FL:荧光观察(蓝、绿、紫等),UVFL(紫外荧光观察)。而不同的物镜类型分别适用于其中的一些观察方式。
